Accessibility Statement
PAE Center Vienna is committed to making its website
www.pae-center.at
accessible in accordance with the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (WZG). This statement applies to the entire pae-center.at domain.
Level of Conformance with Accessibility Requirements
This website is only partially compliant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and the requirements of the WZG. The following known limitations currently exist:
- Alternative Text: No check has been made to ensure all images are correctly labeled.
- Contrast & Font Sizes: No known issues, but no targeted review has taken place.
- PDF Documents: None are currently available to our knowledge.
- Contact Form: Present, but not formally reviewed for accessibility.
- YouTube Video: Embedded, but does not have subtitles.
Note:
No internal or external accessibility evaluation (e.g., WCAG, BITV, or WZG) has been conducted.
No tests with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification software) have been performed. No audit report is available.
Note on Externally Embedded Content & Services
The website only uses an embedded YouTube video. This video does not contain subtitles and may present barriers for some users. No other external services are used.
Creation of This Statement
This statement was prepared on July 8, 2025 based on a self-assessment. The website is technically updated at least quarterly (WordPress, plugins), but no content or design modifications regarding accessibility have been made.
Improvement Process and Future Measures
We are aware of existing barriers and are actively working to continuously improve the accessibility of our website. Planned measures include:
- Reviewing and adding alternative text for images
- Checking and optimizing forms
- Including accessible subtitles for videos where possible
- Regularly researching and adapting to new accessibility standards
